He never called the helplines. The one time he did, it was to say goodbye … to anybody, before leaving the world. Rosie … that was her name. She’d given it when she wasn’t supposed to. She said things that made him burn to live.
And he would. He’d find a way to hide his darkness so that he could dance with her, just a single dance, in the liquid sunshine of her laugh.

And maybe … maybe he’d taste her. But only once.

Such an emotive story, I couldn’t put it down, six star read for me.

I am absolutely and irrevocably in love with these two characters. The push and pull of feelings, insecurities and trying to deal with living between Rosie and William was one of the BEST portrayals I think I’ve EVER read.

I’ve read Lucian’s books before but Mason’s words were a first for me, and to say I was BLOWN AWAY by the two minds and what they have written is completely true.

Cuts Like An Angel is going to stay with me forever, the fumbling minds of two people, the misunderstandings between what they heard said and what was meant. What they saw and what they interpreted and lastly what they concluded on their own without understanding the facts. BRILLIANT.

Oh how I HATE his mother, oh how I understand why William is like he is. How Josh played such a massive part, how much turmoil he was in. Gah it was awesome. I hate Rosie’s family, I can understand her need to remove herself from their poisonous tongues. I can understand fully her insecurities from their treatment.

Arghhhhhhhhhh, if there’s only one book you pick up to read that is full of angst, heartbreaking scenes and characters that have you instantly falling for them, then this is it. Brilliantly executed and a story spun in pure gold words, I am so very excited to read on and follow their journey, please let it not be a long wait.

I received this to review, that didn’t sway my judgement, this has gone into my top 5 emotional reads of all time, I connected with the words and the story and would absolutely recommend this book to all and sundry. It’s that good it’s a six star read for me, their emotional story didn’t lessen from page one to the very end.

Top marks and a top recommendation for sure.
