It’s really simple. I needed money. A lot of money. One million dollars to be exact. The amount didn’t matter. All that mattered is that at the end of that price tag held my father’s life.
No money. No life.
The time limit was one year. On January 1st I had to pay up or my Father was going to be killed.
When you’re faced with an ultimatum like this, you do whatever you have to do.
And that’s exactly what I did.
The job…Exquisite Escorts. My role, serve as high priced arm candy to anyone that can afford the $100,000 price tag for a month of my company. Sex is optional (for me) and a 20% increase on the price.
Mia Saunders just barely escaped a paltry life back home in Las Vegas until she gets the call that her Father has been beaten to within an inch of his life for not paying his gambling debt. Problem is, the lone shark is her lousy, ruthless ex-boyfriend. Another guy in a long line of men she’d fallen head over heels for. Not anymore.
Mia’s mission is simple. Serve as a high-priced escort for her Aunt’s company and pay monthly against her Father’s bad debt. A month with a rich man who she doesn’t have to sleep with if she doesn’t want to? Easy money. At least that’s the way it was supposed to go.
Each installment in the Calendar Girl Serial will release every month throughout 2015. The stories will feature Mia, told from her perspective as she continues her journey as an escort to twelve clients in twelve different locations.
Warning: This book is designed for audiences 18+ due to language and graphic sexual content.

The sexiest grin I’d ever seen slipped across his face. “Best decision I ever made, hiring you.”
Rob’s Review – ♥♥♥♥♥
I really enjoyed this book and the concept of it. A different client per instalment is a really new take on a serial.
I really liked Mia although she had absolutely no self-resolve at all!! She went into it the agreement thinking about the money but was she with Wes even a day when she got down and dirty with him?!!
I’m intrigued to see how this series pans out actually. I mean if she has 12 clients in a year and sleeps with them all, then by April I’m going to consider her a whore. But on the other hand, how is Ms Carlan going to keep our interest if she produces 12 nice rich sexy men who make Mia’s panties wet and has her covering her mouth silently laughing! :p
Anyhoo, Ms Carlan has written an extremely good part one and it has definitely got my interest and I shall await the next book with baited breath. You can’t actually go wrong with an Audrey Carlan book as she is such a good writer.
Michelle’s Review – ♥♥♥♥ 1/2
I find Audrey’s books very easy. They are easy on the eye – easy on the vernacular and – easy on the consumption of the words.
Audrey definitely delivers a ‘happy’ piece of escapism. Her words are sometimes fluffy and flowery but not overly. Twee sometimes I expect is a better way of saying it.
I can feel real romanticism through Audrey’s words, the males are all males but they have a soft side too. Wes was a great lead in January, I wonder now what Mr Dubois is going to be like, I am smitten with Wes and I worry that I am going to be smitten with each character as we meet them. I also worry that if Mia sleeps with them all then she will be no better than a whore and I worry about how I am going to feel about her.
All in all, this was a great, no – really great start to this series, it a fresh idea and approach to releasing books, personally I am a serial release hater, so I hope to high heaven I get on each tour if there is going to be one, as I’ll never keep up otherwise and I want to know and am seriously interested in where Audrey is going with this story.
A very good start indeed. 4.5 stars.
A note added because I had to smile at Rob’s note about the hand over the mouth silent laughing. I messaged him whilst reading January – Calendar Girl saying that – oh if I read one more he, she put their hand over their mouths and silently laughed I was gonna scream. So he made me smile because he picked up on that too. Audrey if you read this, that’s not picking on you, but we both noticed a lot of hand on face/mouth action and it made for good convo between us 😉
Audrey Carlan is an Amazon Best Selling Author who writes erotic contemporary romances, such as the wildly popular “Falling Series.” She lives in the sunny California Valley two hours away from the city, the beach, the mountains and the precious…the vineyards. She has been married to the love of her life for over 10 years and has two young children that live up to their title of “Monster Madness” on daily basis. When she’s not writing, sipping wine with her “soul sisters”, or doing yoga, she can be found with her nose stuck in book or her Kindle. A hot, smutty, romantic book to be exact!
