He thought I owned him. He thought he loved me, that I was enough. But this animal, this sex god who could drive me crazy and steal my heart in the same breath, he would never be fully mine. It was impossible. No one ever owns a God.

I straddled Brad’s body, and he leaned back into the sectional, his eyes drugged with arousal, watching me, the line of his mouth barely affected by the smile that lay there. He ran his hands freely over the front of my dress, dipping inside my low and loose neckline and cupping each breast in turn. “God, you are beautiful.”
I said nothing, only gently moved against him, feeling a slight vibration run through us as the bass rocked a particularly loud note. I could feel the energy of the club, the muted hum of music, of a thousand bodies of barely-contained madness—dancing, kissing, falling in love—underneath us.
“Kiss me,” he commanded.
I shook my head with a smile. “No. Keep touching me.”
A second hand joined his first, both palms sweeping up and cradling my breasts, the pull of the fabric joined with the rough skin of his palms temptingly perfect. He growled, low in his throat. “Like this?” He squeezed, a little rougher on my nipples, my breath catching.
“Then kiss me.” He bucked up with his hips, throwing me forward, his upper body lifting, his mouth looking for mine, but I turned my head, gave him my neck, giggling when he nipped it.
“Not yet,” I whispered. “I’m not going to kiss you until his cock is deep inside of me.”
His hands tightened on me, and he groaned my name as he tore at the straps of my dress, pulling the fabric from me, a shiver running through me as my upper body was exposed.
There was a click of a door handle, and my breath caught as I looked up, seeing the black door swing open, a tall suit of gorgeous stepping inside, a phone at his ear, our eyes catching onto and holding each other.

The Romance Vault’s Verdict: ♥♥♥♥♥
Aghhh ye Gads! You’ll notice I’ve ramped up my stars from 4 to the full Monty (check my reviews for the rest of the series). Quite simply this final book to the series is kickass!
So let’s start with that opener (in the book ☺)…. OH MY GOD! And that sets the precedent for the rest of the book, you know that event is coming. It is building to it all the way through and the journey to get to it…. well it’s a pretty damn fine read!
What I love about this series that yes they are very sexy and erotic and there is a lot of sexy encounters but none of it seems too much. Often in erotic books we can get bored with what seems like too much sexual content but I can honestly say that in this case it doesn’t happen in this book or indeed its predecessors. I don’t know if that’s because of the different content involved, I honestly don’t think I’ve read a relationship quite like Julia and Brad’s and as ‘out there’ as some of it is it’s very highly charged and brings a different spin on two people falling in love.
I loved the mix of erotica, suspense, romance, jealousy, defiance, independence, wit and sexual situations that will have your eyebrows saying hi to your hairline!
This series has been extremely visual with the scenery easily playing out in your mind as do ALL the characters. Whether they be Brad or Julia or Martha (god I loved her), Rebecca, Ben, Luke, Janine, Alexis, Becca, Olivia, Julia’s parents, Brad’s Dad, Maria, Beverly. Shall I go on lol! They all become so real, they exist as 3 dimensional people and they ALL play great roles and bring this with full guns blazing vividly to life.
I AM sad it’s comes to an end, but all goods things have to eventually don’t they and after this series I am now a huge fan of Alessandra Torres. This is a series that I will definitely be reading again and recommending to all that love erotic romances with a twist of suspense and zinging relationships with a difference.
